Our story

Built in the high desert.

BlueTone is a small audio house operating from a single workshop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We design, tune, and quality-test every wireless headphone, earbud and speaker that leaves our facility.

2024 — A frustration

BlueTone started with a simple observation: most "premium" wireless headphones in the €50–€90 range are interchangeable. Same drivers from the same OEMs, different logos. Our founder spent three months auditioning twenty models before deciding to build one that was actually different — warmer, more durable, easier to repair.

2025 — A workshop

We registered RCL Asia LLC in New Mexico, USA on January 14, 2026. EIN issued the following week. Our first 50 prototypes of what would become the Azure Buds were hand-assembled on a shared bench, tuned against a Brüel & Kjær 5128 ear simulator borrowed from a friend's lab.

2026 — The collection

The current BlueTone collection is nine products, priced €29.99 to €89. Each one shares a tuning target — warm, slightly forward midrange, clean treble, no fatigue at long sessions. Each one is repairable, with spare parts stocked for five years after release.

Today

We're four people. We answer every customer email ourselves, usually within a business day. We ship from Albuquerque, in recycled cardboard, with a 30-day no-questions return policy and a 2-year warranty.
