Sustainability
Built to be lived with.
The most sustainable headphone is the one you don't replace. Every BlueTone product is engineered around three principles: durable materials, modular repair, and minimal packaging.
Materials
- — Aluminum cups, yokes and housings use a minimum of 35% recycled content.
- — Earpads are protein leather (vegan PU), free of PVC and chromium.
- — Internal cabling is PVC-free and uses tin-plated OFC.
- — Packaging is 100% recycled cardboard with soy-based inks. No plastic blisters.
Repair-first
Earpads, cables, and batteries on every BlueTone model are user-replaceable or covered by our flat-rate repair program. Spare parts remain available for 5 years after a product is discontinued. Sending a unit to our French service partner costs €9 flat-rate within France.
Carbon
Each order is shipped carbon-neutral via verified offsets purchased through our logistics partner. Our 2025 footprint and offset receipts are available on request to contact@trybluetone.com.
End of life
French customers can return any BlueTone product at end-of-life for free recycling under the DEEE (D3E) French regulation transposing Directive 2012/19/EU. We disassemble and recover aluminum, copper, lithium and rare-earth magnets through a certified Eco-organisme partner.
